JACK IRON RUM, Dark Overproof

Westerhall Jack Iron rum is a strong yet smooth dark rum blended from a secret recipe and aged in wooden charred oak cask. Well known all around Grenada, and especially in the sister isle of Carriacou. A fire-y smooth rum, with a round, gentle finish. Enjoyed straight up or followed with cola, tonic water or coconut water.

Tasting Notes:

• Nose: Intense yet warm. It is potent but inviting with layered notes of charred wood. The oak aging gives it a bold, earthy depth beneath the high proof.

• Palate: Robust, smooth and spiced. The body is full and structured, delivering both strength and smoothness.

• Finish: Long, warming and spiced dry. The finish is lengthy and dry, with residual heat that’s more warming than burning. Lingering flavours include oak char fading slowly with satisfying smoothness. The strength is undeniable, but it's balanced by the rum's mellow aged character.
