Westerhall Rum No. 5 is a delightful, smooth-sipping rum that owes its unique character to a lengthy time honoured process. A blend of rum aged in oak barrels for a minimum of 5 years. Just long enough for a perfectly golden rum.

Flagship of Westerhall Rums, our first ever rum blend. This Golden rum isn’t smooth – It’s silky smooth. First sip offers moderate bite; then turns buttery smooth. A molasses and oak overtone that is honey sweet and mildly spicy.

Ageing: Age 5 Years, Blended, Medium bodied
Colour: Warm Golden to Medium Amber

Tasting Notes:

  • Nose: Light oak, trace of caramel

  • Palate: Moderate Bite, molasses and oak overtone, Buttery Smooth, mildly spicy, subtle notes of honey, vanilla, it provides contrast to sweetness and smoothness and rounded character.

  • Finish: (Clean, Dry and Warming) - Finishes clean and dry, with a subtle warmth and a touch of oak-spice. The moderate bite adds a spirited edge, leaving a smooth yet lively impression that fades gracefully.
